Nice to see that Graham. I found a great spot further south to see it crossing the Grand Union Canal with a narrowboat in the foreground and the sun shining ..... and just as it came along a northbound train blocked the view by passing in front of it! Rating: 8 |

It's hard to tell what size this is, but it looks like some sort of flycatcher. |

These rhino are claimed to have been poached except this male who was shot and wounded by poachers according to this Brisbane Times article. Update: Actually this seems to be an example of those self-perpetuating stories on the net. It appears repeatedly over the last few years and took me in for a while. The truth is that poachers struck in June 2007 and left just one wounded rhino. Since then the group has increased to five which were the rhinos I saw. |
