A useful bothy from which to explore the Fisherfield Forest area of Scotland. Forest seems inappropriate now that there are very few trees left and any that start to grow are eaten by the sheep and deer. Nonetheless it is a very spectacular piece of countryside if you have the energy to walk in over the boggy path.
