Rannoch Moor can be found on the main highlands road from Inverary to Fort William.

The scenes up there change regulary everyday, so its nice to get a good capture.

Very nice shot, with lovely composition and good foreground interest. It is a shame that the vapour trail was there though, because it leads the eye away from the beautiful rocks and hills.

Thank you Coops, I personally thought the vapour trials led your eye into the hills and rocks, and then let the eye roam.... but I do see where you are coming from. I might clone out the vapour trails just to see what it looks like.

      :-D

I think the vapour trails add to the photo

I decided on keeping the vapour trails in too. Did a quick clone to remove the trails, but personally thought it ruined the picture.

Anyhoos, thanks for the great comments. Just hope I can keep it up! LOL

Great shot, lovely atmosphere. The vapour trail helps the composition, but introduces an unnatural element. How about leaving it in (and its reflection) but blurring it to look like a natural cloud formation? Just a thought - may not work at all.
