I saw this 4x4 jeep standing at a fuel station in Masinagudi, while on my way to Ooty. I would guess this would be a 1970's model. Jeeps are the most common mode of transport in the hilly tea estates of Ooty and Masinagudi. Some climbs are so steep that any other vehicle will not be able to manoeuvre them.
