  1. Life in France update

    Well it is now getting on for eight Months since we moved here in Brittany.Although it was obviously a gamble in selling up completely in the UK I can honestly say that it is a decision I don't regret for one moment.

  2. Oh Deer

    I feel I am very lucky in that we have over two acres of ground surrounding our house. Most evening just before dusk I pour myself a drink and have a wander around the ground. It is very calm and peaceful at that time of day and there is nothing I like better than to take a walk down by the stream and here the water tinkling and the birds settling down for the night. On a couple of occasions I have also seen a deer as well.

  3. Life in France

    As many of you will know, we moved to Brittany in France during early August, we have now been here about 6/7 weeks and can really say we are loving living here and the way of life.

  4. Trip to the CES in Las Vegas

    I have just come back from visiting the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

    It is a show I've wanted to see for the last couple of years and this year finally got around to seeing. It is a huge show spread over about 3 million square feet taking up the whole of the Las Vegas Convention Centre, part of the Hilton Hotel and part of the Venetion Hotel.

    It is certainly not for the faint hearted as it takes a lot of walking, my legs were pretty sore after 4 days! ...

  5. Life's a bowl of cherries



    July is a great time of the year in our garden, we have a huge amount of produce coming out every day.
    We have just finished cutting the asparagus for the year and are now digging up new potatoes, carrots onions and picking broad beans and peas, all of which taste so much different that what you buy in the supermarkets
