Hi When shooting in my local soprts hall the shots are blurey and never come out any good, now the lighting isnt very good in there its that yellow/orangey effect, is there away to set the camera up to deal with this issue ? Thanks, Tone

Hi all, The Panasonic FZ30 manual makes it clear that the max SD card size that can be used in this camera is 2GB. This appears to be because the SD standard is moving on and changing the type of formatting used in larger cards, and most current hardware uses the older standard not the new....

Hi all, I see Panasonic have started another of their product auctions. It will run for a few days yet and is a way to buy direct from the makers at what they consider a special price. The FZ30 and other cameras and TVs and so on are included... I think there may be lower prices about...

With 8 mega pixel this camera looks like its going to be one of the main players for Christmas and the new year. It's on my list of cameras to replace my Fuji, just hope the cost doesnt push it into the likes of Canons 20d etc :)

Panasonic have joined the DSLR market and made some announcements at the PMA Show in Orlando today: They have just announced a new DSLR here. And a stabilised Leica 4/3 format lens here. And also a Joint announcement with Olympus here. Andy

Hi all, I have had chance to take a good number of photos with my recently acquired Panasonic FZ-20 camera now, so I thought I'd share a couple of thoughts on it... The lens still seems amazing, and this is a 'for instance' below... The Whitehouse isn't all that close is it:

I see the FZ30 is listed on the Panasonic Website as being available from the 10th of September. Do you think it will be long after that before thay start appearing in local shops? I'm realy feeling tempted by this camera, what do you think? Matt

The Panasonic FZ5 has the following 'Picture Adjustment' settings: Standard, Natural and Vivid. Very little information is given about these settings in the user manual, except that 'Natural' makes the picture look 'softer' What does this mean? Which is the 'recommended' or most common setting...
