36 years, 12 weeks, 2 days…….but who’s counting?

In two days time I reach a huge milestone in my life; the end of my career in the RAF. Looking back I have had some amazing experiences, some tough times and some unbelievable highs, but the first thing that I think of that defines life in the military, is the people. It’s hard to explain to someone who has not experienced the close comradeship of working and living with friends who would be intensely competitive against you in any competition, would find something to laugh about in the worst

Beautiful image Andy, I'm jealous! I saw 3 kingfishers when I was walking along the River Parret a couple of days ago, but I have never been able to get a good photo of one.
