36 years, 12 weeks, 2 days…….but who’s counting?

In two days time I reach a huge milestone in my life; the end of my career in the RAF. Looking back I have had some amazing experiences, some tough times and some unbelievable highs, but the first thing that I think of that defines life in the military, is the people. It’s hard to explain to someone who has not experienced the close comradeship of working and living with friends who would be intensely competitive against you in any competition, would find something to laugh about in the worst

Hi Susan, I took the photo because I really liked the way the rest of the band and the open-air setting, were reflected in the instrument; but I could not see why the glint from the sun was in such a strange pattern rather than just a bright patch. Now your alien theory has given me the answer! LOL
