    Pete,

Only those who actually look at your profile page will see you sending yourself a visitor message like that.

I'd suggest messages to start a chat about new cameras are best put on the forum of your choice as that is where most folks will see them.

If you wanted to go over life in general for you at the moment or whatever then the Blog area is good for that sort of thing. It will get more folks here to understand 'where you are coming from' if you write about how life is treating you there etc.

I hope the suggestions are helpful, and good to see you taking part. Golf is, sadly, a bit of a waste of time isn't it... It is I suppose one way to get a walk.. but all the faffing about and cost always puts me off....

    Steve

I've just noticed that I've been a ukexpert trial member for over seven years. It's about time I got back into the swing of photography. I packed up golf this year due to persistent injury problems and now I find that I don't really miss it all that much. I'm due a new camera though ... perhaps a Nikon D5100.

I really enjoyed this shot Andy. Where I live in Lincolnshire, I regularly see the Typhoons and on April 1st they formed up over our village before teaming up with the Reds and flying off to London for the flypast. Unfortunately we never see the Red Arrows in the skies above us. The consolation is that we often see the Battle of Britain flight either training of flying off to one display or another.
