Lens Ring?
My frind has an olympus SLR (Model escapes me) anyways he has bought an adapter ring thing that allows him to use Pentax or Canon i think it is lenses on it!
Any idea if there is one to fit Sony to allow the same thing and where i can source one from?
Many thanks in advance

Re: Lens Ring?
Hi Tory,
The only adapters for Sony / Minolta that I've seen are for M42 lenses and old Minolta MF lenses, but the latter one has a glass insert which degrades the image. Some Minolta MF lenses can be adapted for the AF mount and I've got a 58mm f1.2 like that.
There is a huge selection of M42 lenses available and this guy sells chipped adapters that give a focus confirm signal:

With the Sony A900 you are getting you would be limited to fully manual operation with these lenses.
Hope that helps,
Andy
