    Question A3 printer

I have decided to purchase an A3 printer.
I used to have a Canon 9100 but was never really happy with it.
I've had a look round the web and Epsom seem to do a very good one but the total costs of ink cartridges is almost £100, very expensive imo.
Has anybody used a laser printer to print photos?

Yes. We have a magicolor 8350 (an A3+ printer) in the department at work which we use for posters, flyers and mailshots. I print photos on it, usually group photos of meetings, staff ID photos etc. It's 600dpi and after some initial problems, which were fixed by an engineer, produces excellent results on quality 100gm high white paper. Good paper is key as there are many things sold as high white which are not (IMHO). I spent a lot of time finding the right paper and the right settings in the printer and it has paid off. It gives excellent results with little variation.

Just because you're paranoid it doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

    Re: A3 printer

I bought a seconhad Ricoh a3 colour laser from ebay when I was printing lots of flyers for my last business, I managed to get it for about £400 which included 4 unused cartridges, very economical for what I wanted I usedit for about 3 years printing 1000s of sheets. The new cost of the machine was £10,000 plus.
    Just a thought..

Some see the glass as half full

I see the glass as too small
