    Re: firmware question

    Andy,

Hmm...pigsinspace seems a strange name to want to be known by here..

I can see the Olympus info on this camera here:
    http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/20...dID=P_N1445592

..but I can't see anything in that re the fault code you mention.

However.. it seems like Olympus offer free technical help Mon-Fri as shown on this page here:
    http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/208_1636.htm

So I'd just call that and ask them what the error message means, and then what they'd recommend/suggest etc.

That same page says you can also email them here:
    e-mail: di.support@olympus-europa.com

I don't know when you bought the camera and if it may still be under warranty.. Olympus seem to say this on their Warranty page don't they:

"In addition to the one year World Wide Warranty, issued by Olympus Corporation in Japan, the European warranty, issued by Olympus Europa GmbH, is valid for two years from the date of purchase, if purchased after the 1st of April 2004. Please notice that this warranty is in addition to and does not affect the customer’s statutory rights."

I hope they can help....you'd expect that to be the case wouldn't you.

    Steve
