The winner of the October subscriber assignment was Sharon... userid here Shaz44.

Sharon's photo got the most votes, and also Sharon got the most votes if you added all the votes cast together. Just for info, on that basis Coops was second, Penny third.

So Sharon.. a small engraved item will be arranged to mark your win. Andy arranged the item for September and I'll arrange the one for October.. and we intend to keep varying the items given to see what seems to work best.

I'll be in touch Sharon... these items can take a few weeks to be sent out due to the special ordering/engraving etc.

Congrats on your October win...can you do it again in November I wonder??!

I love the idea of an engraved item as a prize as it's something very personal and special that you can keep forever.
Steve,I don't think theres a hope of me even entering the next one ,nevermind winning it..The only graphics I come up with are accidental and usually happen without me having a clue how I did it..
Anyway I'm off to Egypt for 7 days tomorrow so hope to come back with a few pics to share.

The subject for November is "Being Creative" and there is a note that both photos and graphics creations are allowed... If I was going to Egypt I know I'd expect to win!

I mean, get the sun setting on a Pyramid and so on and it must look ever so creative... and uploading a few entries from Internet Cafes or hotels etc should be a breeze...
