    Post FREE(ish) Money!

Best value Alliance & Leicester bank account pays a very healthy 5% or more interest when you are in credit. One must put £1,000 per month into the account to obtain full benefits, including £25 cash for taking the account and FREE annual holiday insurance. Take out their credit card at the same time and get another £25 put into your account. That's £50 for changing to a best value account and takiing out their credit card. You can apply on line and they send forms to fill out.

Why use a sledge hammer to crack a nut, when a steam roller will do an even better job, AND, is fun to drive.

For those with a little less money, a mini isa is a good account. I have mine with HSBC and I think that pays 5%.
